At Water Master, we work hard to ensure your order arrives safely, quickly, and with full transparency. The details below outline our carriers, timelines, policies, and special‑handling requirements so you always know what to expect.

Carriers We Use

We ship all orders using UPS and USPS.
  • UPS Ground – Primary carrier for rafts, frames, oars, anchors, and oversized items
  • UPS 3‑Day, 2‑Day, and Next Day Air – Available upon request
  • USPS Priority Mail – Ideal for smaller items, PO Boxes, and remote destinations
All shipments include tracking information sent to your email once your order leaves our facility.

Order Processing & Shipping Timeline

Our shipping timeline depends on current inventory levels and how busy our shop is at the time of your order. Because we build, pack, and ship many items in‑house, processing times can vary throughout the year. A shipping time estimate will be provided at the time of purchase, and we will notify you if anything changes before your order ships.

Business Days

Shipping and transit days are Monday–Friday, excluding certain holidays when carriers do not operate.

Transit Times

Transit times vary by carrier and service:
  • UPS Ground: Typically 2–5 business days within the lower 48
  • USPS Priority Mail: Usually 2–4 business days
  • Expedited UPS services follow the carrier’s guaranteed timelines
Weather, carrier delays, and seasonal volume may affect delivery times.

Shipping Outside the Contiguous United States

We proudly ship Water Master products outside of the contiguous United States using USPS Priority Mail International (USPS PR INT) or UPS Standard, depending on destination and package size. We ship to:
  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • Puerto Rico
  • U.S. Territories (Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands)
  • International destinations (quoted separately)
Service Notes:
  • USPS PR INT is often the most efficient option for remote locations, PO Boxes, and smaller packages.
  • UPS Standard may be used for larger shipments where available.
  • Some oversized items may require additional transit time or special handling.
  • Shipping rates will be shown at checkout or provided before finalizing your order.

Oversized Items

Certain products — including rafts, frames, oars, anchors, and other large components — are considered oversized by carriers. Oversized shipments may include additional carrier surcharges, which will be displayed at checkout. For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations, oversized shipping charges may be calculated after your order is submitted. You will be contacted for approval before your card is charged.

Shipping Flammable Items

Some products we sell — such as certain glues, adhesives, and solvents — are classified as flammable and require special handling. Important Notes:
  • All sales of flammable items are final. These products are non‑refundable and cannot be returned.
  • If you’re unsure whether a product is right for your needs, call us at 406-777-5970 before ordering.
  • Due to shipping restrictions, flammable items can only ship via standard ground services.
  • Approved ground methods include UPS Ground and USPS ground‑eligible services.
Examples of flammable items include:
  • Adhesives
  • Glues
  • Solvents
  • Certain repair materials

Backordered Items

If an item is on backorder:
  • We will notify you of the estimated availability date
  • Your card will not be charged until the item ships
  • You may cancel a backorder at any time before shipment
If the arrival of a backordered item is time‑sensitive (for example, for an upcoming trip), please let us know so we can assist.
